Work Environment This remote position enables therapists to work from the comfort of their own home while engaging with clients via secure teletherapy platforms. Our outpatient office model supports a collaborative environment where therapists can connect with one another, share insights, and foster a supportive community. We ensure that all therapists have access to necessary resources and administrative support, including assistance with scheduling, billing, and insurance processing, allowing you to focus intensively on your therapeutic work. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs and circumstances of each client, allowing for the development of tailored treatment plans. Provide individual therapy sessions through various techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, to support clients in overcoming challenges like trauma, anxiety, and depression. Establish clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and monitor their progress to ensure meaningful advancements in mental health. Facilitate teletherapy sessions effectively, using technology to provide seamless access to therapeutic support for clients who prefer or require virtual services. Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to uphold ethical standards and regulatory compliance. Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in training sessions, workshops, and clinical supervision to continually enhance your therapeutic skills. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clients will encompass a diverse demographic, including individuals grappling with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and relationship issues. Our therapeutic approach is tailored to meet clients where they are, focusing on their unique needs, backgrounds, and experiences. You will play a crucial role in promoting resilience and empowerment, supporting clients as they achieve their personal wellness goals. Qualifications Possession of a valid and unrestricted state license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD) to practice as a mental health counselor. A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required for this position. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to foster a trusting and therapeutic relationship with clients. Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude essential for effective therapeutic practice. Exemplary organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote working environment. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a mental health therapy setting is preferred, especially in providing teletherapy or remote treatment. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and methodologies will greatly enhance your efficacy in this role. Compensation and Benefits Stokes Health System offers a competitive salary range of
USD 90,000
to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
