We are growing our outpatient clinical team and are hiring a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) for a hybrid role based out of our Catonsville, MD office. You will carry a caseload of individual, family, and/or group therapy clients, primarily via telehealth, with in-office sessions available for clients who prefer or require them (capped at 2 in-office days per week). This is a strong fit for a licensed clinician who wants full clinical autonomy, competitive session-based pay, and a workplace that treats client and organizational confidentiality as a top priority. Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and diagnostic evaluation tools to determine client needs. Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client goals, incorporating treatment planning principles and case management strategies. Utilize crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health crises or co-occurring disorders. Maintain accurate clinical documentation within EMR/EHR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines. Engage in ongoing research and data collection to refine therapeutic approaches and improve patient outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals, educators, and support staff to coordinate care for clients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Facilitate intake sessions for new clients, ensuring thorough patient assessment and appropriate service placement. Deliver telehealth therapy sessions utilizing telehealth platforms to increase access for clients with mobility or transportation challenges. Qualifications Valid licensure as an LCPC or LCSW-C with active state licensure credentials. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities; experience in pediatrics or geriatrics is a plus. Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities such as CBT, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses. Experience working with co-occurring disorders including substance use issues; knowledge of medical records management is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols. Excellent clinical documentation skills adhering to HIPAA standards; experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred. Strong communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment combining in-person and telehealth services.
