Licensed Therapist — Individual & Couples/EFT Therapy 1099 Independent Contractor | Hybrid (In-Person + Virtual) | Hopkins, MN We're growing The Marigold Practice and looking for a licensed therapist who wants real ownership of a caseload — including couples work — without having to build a practice from scratch. If you've done (or are finishing) EFT externship training and want a warm, low-drama place to put it to use, this role is built for you. About the Practice The Marigold Practice is a private-pay therapy practice in Hopkins, MN, built primarily through an organic social media presence (@mallorywolfgramm) rather than referral networks or ad spend. Our office sits above Cream & Amber, a cozy neighborhood coffee shop in Hopkins, Minnesota. About the Role You'll carry a caseload of individual and couples clients, with couples/relational work — ideally EFT-informed — as a core focus. You'll have full clinical autonomy over your caseload, backed by informal case consultation and marketing support from the practice owner, Mallory. Within your first three months, we'd expect you to be seeing at least 15 sessions a week. The office is available to you before 11am and after 5pm on Mondays, after 5pm on Wednesdays, after 5pm on Thursdays and all day Fridays. You can also see clients virtually. What You'll Do Provide individual therapy and couples/relational therapy to a diverse caseload of private-pay clients. Apply EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) principles to couples work, drawing on your externship training. Hold sessions in our Hopkins office in the evening and during the day on Fridays, plus virtual sessions as needed. Maintain clinical documentation in the practice's EHR (provided). Participate in informal case consultation on EFT work with the practice owner. Build toward a full caseload of roughly 15 sessions per week by month three.

What We're Looking For Required:

Active, independent clinical license in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP, or equivalent). Experience providing both individual and couples/relational therapy. Completed the EFT externship, or currently completing it (Fall/September cohort) — either is welcome. Availability for evening hours (after 5pm Mon/Wed/Thu) and Fridays, with openness to virtual sessions.

Preferred:

Additional EFT training beyond the externship. Comfort building a caseload through warm handoffs and organic marketing. Interest in informal mentorship and eventual formal EFT clinical supervision. A clear path forward:

the practice owner is on track to become an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor within about six months, with the goal of offering formal clinical supervision and EFT supervision to contractors from there.
