Job Description
As You Are Therapy Group LLC is a client-centered private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, inclusive, and high-quality mental health services across Kentucky. We specialize in serving diverse populations with a strong emphasis on minority groups, and we are committed to creating a safe and empowering environment for every client who walks through our doors. We are currently seeking a mental health clinician (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, CSW, LPCA, or equivalent) with specialized experience or interest in working with couples and families to join our team in a W-2, fee-for-service (split-rate) position. Position Overview This clinician will primarily receive couples and family therapy referrals, while also maintaining a balanced caseload that includes individual therapy in order to meet weekly billable hour requirements. We are looking for a skilled, autonomous clinician who is confident working with relational systems as well as individual clients. Compensation Structure (W-2 Employee) This is a pay-per-billable-hour position with a split-rate model: Associate-level licensure: 60/40 split. → Clinician receives 60% of billed revenue per billable hour Independently licensed clinicians: 70/30 split → Clinician receives 70% of billed revenue per billable hour Full-time expectation: Minimum of 20 billable hours/week, up to 25 billable hours/week
Clinical Approach:
DBT-Informed Practice Our practice is rooted in DBT-informed techniques and skills. Clinicians in this role are expected to: Have prior experience working with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Be actively open and willing to learn and implement DBT-informed interventions We regularly integrate DBT skills such as: Emotion regulation Distress tolerance Interpersonal effectiveness Mindfulness-based interventions Training and support in DBT-informed practice will be available; however, openness to this modality is essential for success in this role. Couples & Family Therapy Approach Applicants who have experience or training in Gottman Method Therapy or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) are strongly preferred. If you do not currently have training in these modalities, applicants who are interested in receiving training in Gottman or EFT approaches are also strongly encouraged to apply. Schedule & Flexibility We offer a highly flexible schedule model. Clinicians create their own schedules Work hours are based on client availability and clinician preference Option for a 4-day workweek Telehealth and in-person sessions available Location & Work Setting Primary in-person location: 3785 Liberty Road, Columbia, Kentucky Telehealth permitted when clients request virtual sessions Clinicians are expected to provide in-person services at the Columbia office, unless a client has specifically chosen telehealth. Telehealth sessions may be completed from the clinician's home Clinicians are not required to come into the office solely for telehealth sessions, unless they choose to do so Clinical Support & Supervision Minimum monthly supervision with the practice owner Ongoing consultation available for complex cases Supportive leadership without micromanagement Strong emphasis on clinical autonomy with accessible support when needed We trust our clinicians as skilled professionals and provide structure without excessive oversight.
