We specialize in treating anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and life transitions, and are committed to providing accessible, high-quality mental health care in a supportive and inclusive environment. We are seeking licensed clinicians who are passionate about helping clients build resilience and create meaningful change—while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ABA, EDMR, Trauma-Informed Care, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Art Therapy. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and facilitate behavior change. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols, ensuring client safety and stabilization. Document all patient interactions accurately within HIPAA-compliant medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical documentation using
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems. Maintain ongoing professional development by staying current with medical terminology updates, CPT coding standards for billing purposes, and advancements in behavioral health therapies. Requirements Valid licensure as an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LGPC (Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor), LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist), or Psychologist Associate with relevant Maryland credentials. Proven experience delivering psychotherapy across diverse settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, or community health programs. Background in crisis intervention techniques and behavioral management strategies for patients with complex mental health needs. Familiarity with telehealth platforms (such as Therapy Notes) and delivering remote therapy sessions effectively while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Current malpractice insurance ($1M/$3M coverage required), or the ability to acquire it. Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace Ability to maintain a minimum caseload of at least 10 - 15 clients per week Work Schedule HYBRID work schedule - Clinicians can create their own schedule, but must be able to see client's Remotely and In-Person. Work Location This is a Hybrid position that will allow clinicians to do Remote work, set their own schedules; but requires seeing some clients in-person. Our physical office locations in Maryland are in Catonsville, Elkridge, and Columbia. Employment The clinician will be a 1099 contractor. As a clinician with our practice, you will focus exclusively on providing outstanding clinical care. RTC will handle all billing, scheduling, insurance credentialing, and client referrals so you can do what you do best—support your clients.
