Our clinicians specialize in trauma and related mental health concerns and utilize approaches designed to help clients who may not have found traditional talk therapy to be effective. We are excited to expand our Louisville, KY team and are seeking one compassionate, trauma-informed therapist who is passionate about helping clients experience meaningful, lasting change. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated mental health therapist to join our Louisville practice. The ideal candidate has experience providing trauma-informed clinical care and is passionate about continuing to grow their skills in trauma-focused treatment. This position offers a hybrid schedule , with a combination of in-office sessions at our Louisville location and remote telehealth sessions. We are open to full-time or part-time clinicians.
Responsibilities:
Maintain an average of approximately 25 client contact hours per week for full-time clinicians or 12 client contact hours per week for part-time clinicians. Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing DSM-5 (or
DSM-5 TR
) to accurately document patient conditions. Complete timely and clinically appropriate documentation in accordance with practice and insurance requirements; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, and professional development opportunities as needed. Collaborate with other clinicians and members of the care team when appropriate to support client care and outcomes. Provide both in-office and telehealth services as part of a hybrid schedule. Maintain ethical, professional, and client-centered clinical practices.
Qualifications:
Required Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
Active or provisional Kentucky license:
LPCC, LPCA, CSW, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist. Demonstrated experience in trauma-informed clinical work. Strong clinical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative clinical team. Ability to provide both in-office and telehealth services. Knowledge of DSM-5 (or
DSM-5-TR
) for accurate diagnosis documentation Skilled in patient assessment techniques including clinical terminology understanding and records management. Experience delivering services via telehealth platforms and in-person while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Strong communication skills for engaging patients across diverse backgrounds; ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Preferred Experience with EMDR or other trauma-focused/trauma-informed treatment modalities. Experience facilitating or co-facilitating therapy groups. Experience working with complex trauma, dissociation, attachment-related concerns, or clients with significant adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
