Job Description

Tiftarea Psychiatric and Counseling Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Clinician to provide counseling services to clients across a variety of backgrounds and clinical needs. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are committed to delivering quality care while working within a collaborative and supportive environment. What You'll Do As a member of our clinical team, you will: Provide outpatient counseling services for individuals, couples, families, and/or groups Develop treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and clinical presentation Apply therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and other evidence-informed approaches Maintain timely and accurate documentation using our electronic health record system Collaborate with psychiatric providers and fellow clinicians to support continuity of care Participate in supervision, consultation, and professional development opportunities as applicable What We're Looking For Successful candidates will demonstrate: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to ethical and client-centered practice Ability to manage caseload responsibilities effectively Confidence working independently while contributing positively to a team environment Interest in ongoing clinical growth and continuing education Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health discipline Current Georgia licensure or eligibility for licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) Previous counseling or behavioral health experience is welcomed but not required Working knowledge of electronic documentation and recordkeeping systems What We Offer Consistent referral flow and opportunities to establish a caseload quickly Flexible scheduling options Competitive pay structure Clinical supervision for qualifying associate-level clinicians Supportive and collaborative workplace culture Access to training and continuing education resources Opportunities for professional advancement and skill development About Tiftarea Psychiatric and Counseling Services Our practice is dedicated to improving access to high-quality behavioral health services within the community.
