We are seeking to add a licensed counselor or pre-licensed counselor to our team. Experienced therapists are encouraged to apply. Special consideration will be given to trauma informed clinicians and clinicians with additional certificates in EMDR or working towards it. The successful therapist will be passionate about working with individuals, couples and families who may be presenting with a variety of different challenges. Clients may be presenting with challenges ranging from PTSD, depression, anxiety, to family and relational difficulties. The candidate must be grounded in strong therapeutic skills. The therapist must also demonstrate the ability to work responsibly, autonomously, and independently in a private, group practice setting as a 1099 contractor. To succeed at Parker Counseling Associates, the therapist should have a desire to learn, work in an autonomous environment, and have an internal drive to work with clients in the community with a diverse array of presenting problems such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD and family and relational problems. Basic Overview The Clinician will be responsible for the following: Meet with referred clients for therapy sessions. Get clients in and out of sessions on time. Attend team meetings when possible. Maintain an active license. Be autonomous and professional in clinical responsibilities. Maintaining an active caseload of 12-15 clients/week . Practice within a high level of ethical standards. Maintain timely and accurate client records. Maintain own malpractice insurance. Detailed Overview The Therapist is responsible for providing therapy to clients who will be referred to them through our front office staff. The Therapist will be responsible for keeping client notes updated on a daily basis and will develop treatment plans for each client. The therapist will also be responsible for working with our billing company providing necessary information through our EHR for our billing company to process insurance and EAP claims. Parker Counseling Associates will provide the office space and amenities needed for therapy sessions including EHR system, billing service, calendaring, email, and phone services. As a 1099 contract position, you are able to set your own schedule and availability within the office hours that are available. This is a hybrid position where clients can be seen online or in-person depending on the client's preference - although most clients prefer to be seen in person. You can expect 5-7 referrals per month on average although referrals are not guaranteed. While this is a 1099 position with a lot of flexibility and autonomy, we also meet regularly as a group for consultations and do office potlucks as well. Doors of our clinicians are often open to talk and discuss about cases when they are in the office. We find the most successful therapists are the ones who are ambitious about starting their own caseload within a group practice and are responsible in their autonomy. We offer regular coaching to help you build a steady caseload and be successful as an independent contractor. For LMFT Candidates, the supervising therapist at Parker Counseling Services is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and supervision towards LMFT can be negotiated. Supervision is available for LPC candidates as well. Location Parker Counseling Associates is located conveniently right off Progress Rd at 10158 Progress Rd ste 900 in Parker, CO. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited school for counseling. Current LMFT, LPC, LCSW or equivalent. Will also consider MFTC, LPCC and LSW applicants as well. Current state licensure or certification as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker) Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches for various mental health conditions Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds Proficient in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans Familiarity with data collection methods and outcome measurement tools Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with clients to identify goals and monitor progress throughout the treatment process
- Utilize research-based techniques and strategies to address specific mental health concerns
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and special education providers, to coordinate care for clients with complex needs
- Provide counseling services to individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards Rate of Pay Parker Counseling Associates offers our contractors a very competitive clinic/clinician split of 50% of fees collected.
