Role Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help clients navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their mental wellness goals. The ideal candidate will be energized by making a positive impact on individuals' lives and possess a strong foundation in clinical counseling practices, crisis intervention, and behavioral therapies; one who is also open to participating in social media marketing to help expand the reach of our practice and grow referrals. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to accurately determine mental health conditions. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis management protocols to ensure immediate safety for clients experiencing acute distress or suicidal ideation. Provide specialized counseling for populations with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, addiction issues, grief, and gender-related concerns. Maintain thorough clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards while ensuring accurate medical records and medical terminology usage. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans and coordinate with external providers for continuity of care. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining high-quality patient care standards. Create and post social media content (in coordination with leadership), such as: Reels, video clips, or mental health tips, images, graphics, infographics or quotes that reflect our brand and values Captions or short-form writing for Instagram or Facebook posts Engage in team meetings, case consultation, social media post/comments and periodic outreach events. Skills Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and evidence-based practices. Strong skills in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management, and social work principles. Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities—including autism—and those with co-occurring disorders. Knowledge of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation; familiarity with CPT coding. Ability to conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations efficiently within clinical settings or telehealth environments. Excellent clinical documentation skills aligned with medical documentation standards; proficient in medical terminology and electronic health record systems. Effective communication skills for patient care coordination, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements and clinical ethical guidelines to ensure confidentiality and professional integrity. Experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is preferred; knowledge of hospital experience is a plus. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Clinical experience working with trauma, anxiety, and/or identity development Familiarity with or willingness to learn tools for video therapy and content creation (e.g., Online EHR software, Instagram, Canva, Reels) Preferred Qualifications Active Pennsylvania licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSW, etc.) (preferred) Trauma-specific certifications (e.g., CCTP) Experience in private practice or outpatient mental health setting Comfort being visible online (e.g., sharing videos, graphics, or clinical tips) Strong written and verbal communication skills What We Offer Remote work flexibility (telehealth) Competitive pay with room to grow your caseload Mentorship and clinical support from a trauma-informed team Supervision support towards Pennsylvania licensure Creative freedom to co-shape our online presence and outreach strategy A supportive, collaborative work culture where healing comes first How to Apply Interested?
