Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine patient needs Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions using modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma such as PTSD or grief Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with medical records and HIPAA regulations Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling sessions while maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and medical documentation Engage in case management activities including patient assessment, intake procedures, and follow-up care planning Support patients with special needs by working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or chronic pain conditions in outpatient or inpatient settings Skills Expertise in psychotherapy techniques including psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling Proficiency in motivational interviewing and social work principles to foster client engagement and motivation for change Strong knowledge of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding for accurate medical documentation and billing purposes Experience in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management, and working with individuals experiencing trauma or PTSD Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health, mental health counseling, psychopharmacology, and diagnostic evaluation Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Skilled in patient care activities such as intake assessments, data collection for clinical research purposes, and behavioral health monitoring Join us to empower individuals on their journey toward mental well-being!
