Counseling Services:
AMRI Counseling Services (AMRI) is a Wisconsin State Licensed and Certified Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Clinic providing quality mental health and substance abuse counseling/ treatment for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families of Milwaukee WI, and Kenosha, WI since 2006. AMRI Counseling Services provides a combination of clinically; evidence-based counseling services, a comprehensive connection, as well as a realistic and personalized positive strategy for change. AMRI is fully committed to providing its clients and families with quality care. AMRI provides a nurturing, safe, and therapeutic atmosphere to explore, clarify, and focus on issues of importance specifically to the client. In keeping with the core basic needs philosophy of AMRI, the clinicians assist clients and families with mental health, substance abuse, medication management, family support services, and community resources. The culturally diverse and multidisciplinary trained staff at AMRI is dedicated to treating all clients with respect and professionalism. Our treatment team includes passionate staff and treatment/prevention providers, mental health professionals, substance abuse providers, medical doctors, clinical supervisors, family support specialists, and more. We are hiring Psychotherapists and Substance Abuse Counselors to join our team!
POSITION
Overview:
AMRI Counseling Services is hiring Full-time and Part-time Psychotherapists and Substance Abuse Counselors for our Outpatient Mental Health / Substance Abuse clinic. Candidates will be working with Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples, and Families.
Job Type:
Full-time and Part-time positions available, In-Office and/or
Telehealth Salary:
Varies between $20.00 to $42.00 /hour depending on licensure level
Location:
Positions are available at all 2 of the 3 locations and telehealth.
Responsibilities:
Perform and complete intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, clinical notes, safety plans, and other required clinical documentation. Attend staffing, clinical collaborations, clinical supervision, training, and meetings. Chart documentation is recorded accurately and in a timely, organized, timely manner. Provide outpatient individual, family, and group psychotherapy to a diverse population of clients. Follow all city, DHS state guidelines, county, and federal guidelines. Follow all policies and procedures. Adhere to licensure guidelines. Complete all staff onboarding procedures such as orientation, training, and paperwork Commit to best practice standards of mental health, community care, and recovery principles. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Applicants must either have an In-Training License or Full Licensure
  • License in Psychotherapy with one of the following licenses
LPC, LPC-IT, LCSW, APSW, MFT, MFT-IT
  • License in Substance Abuse/ Alcohol and Drug Counseling
SAC-IT, SAC, CSAC
  • Licence as an Independent or Intermediate Supervisor (ICS) encouraged to apply . A candidate who is fluent in Spanish is a plus!
  • Must be able to navigate computer systems proficiently and familiar with electronic health records
  • Ability to write effectively Ability to use computers and basic software systems
  • Ability to multitask Ability to work effectively independently and cooperatively as a team member.
  • Ability to effectively communicate Broad knowledge of psychopathology, normal development, and psychotherapeutic interventions.
Awareness of personal, cultural, educational, and environmental aspects of community living for individuals with mental illness, developmental disability, substance abuse, medical ailments, and the co-occurring possibilities of those conditions. Knowledge of community mental health systems, community resources, WI law/ administrative regulations, and other applicable statutes.
