Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality mental health counseling to individuals across various demographics, but focused on perinatal clients and their families, including those trying to conceive, through 3 years postpartum. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health care, with experience in private practice. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a critical role in assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to support overall mental well-being. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs through interviews and psychological testing. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals. Provide mental health counseling to clients in various settings, including school environments and telehealth platforms. Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. Engage with families to provide guidance and support in child family counseling scenarios. Stay informed about best practices in mental health therapy and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent). Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies. Strong skills in assessment methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. A commitment to providing compassionate patient care while adhering to ethical standards in mental health practice. Ideal clients would have perinatal mental health training or background - either through pervious experience, or PMH-C.
