Job Description
Essential Mental Health is looking for a highly independent, and motivated clinical practitioner to see clients either in person and remotely from our new office in Taos, NM. We are a growing and tight-knit agency with the main office being located in Albuquerque. You must hold a non-independent license (LMHC, LMSW, etc) and this is a rare opportunity to create and work in a group "private practice" setting. You set the hours and the types of clients you work best with; have your Psychology Today profile paid for, and everything else is taken care of (billing, claims, advertising, eligibility, etc.). A minimum of 15 client per week is preferred. This job will have minimal oversight and micromanaging, requiring a strong ability to work independently. Paid clinical supervision is provided to accrue hours to become independently licensed. Most clients seeking help at this agency are teens and adults with commercial insurance who have some sort of depression, anxiety, trauma or stress. Due to the independence of this position, the reimbursement rate is significantly higher than other opportunities in this field. Compensation is $50-55 per clinical hour, paid every other week for sessions conducted during that time period, not when claims come in. We have a preference for someone who has clinical training in an evidence based modality (DBT, EMDR, CBT, etc.) but will consider an eclectic practitioner if it is a good fit and will pay for you to get trained in EMDR (with an employment agreement) Please send resume to info@essentialmentalhealth.org
