Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing counseling and therapy services to individuals, families, and groups. If you have a passion for helping others and possess the necessary skills and qualifications, we would love to hear from you. This is a 1099 position.Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients to address their mental health concerns
- Utilize various therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychotherapy, to help clients achieve their treatment goals
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on clients' needs
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling or a related field
- Licensure or certification as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Associates are also encouraged to apply!
- Experience working with children and families
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
