The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups, focusing on various issues including trauma, addiction, and developmental disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and the ability to work collaboratively with clients to develop effective treatment plans. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients. Provide individual counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, or other evidenced based approaches. Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage crisis situations effectively. Engage in motivational interviewing to encourage client engagement in their treatment process. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC), Licensed Social Worker (LMSW, LCSW). Experience working in a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology is advantageous. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and crisis management strategies. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Understanding of medical terminology and experience with medical records management.
