Join our team as a Outpatient Therapist!
KVC Kansas | Full-Time | Hiawatha, KSOutpatient Therapists provide therapy to children and their families in order to facilitate and/or maintain timely permanent placements.
Hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office required. $3,000 sign on bonus for new employees! The sign-on bonus is available only to candidates who are new to the company. Current employees, including internal transfers from other departments or business units, are not eligible.
Education and experience requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work (LMSW), family therapy (LMFT & LCMFT), counseling (LPC & LCPC) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) from an accredited institutionMinimum of one year supervised experience in providing individual, family and group therapy to children and/or adolescents. Documented course work in child/adolescent development and individual, family and group counseling.
Requires Intermediate computerskills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Outlook email
All KVC Kansas employees must be at least 21 years of age.

Licensure with the BSRBValid drivers license and auto insurance required.All KVC Kansas employees must be at least 21 years of age.
What you will do:
Clinical Therapy & Support:
Provide home-based individual, group, and family therapy using a strengths-based approach to meet client goals.Crisis & Safety Management:
Deliver on-call crisis intervention and assist team units with safety planning and specialized clinical interventions.Consultation & Advocacy:
Coordinate care with psychiatrists, provide staff consultation, and offer professional testimony in court hearings.Collaboration & Partnership:
Maintain proactive communication with DCF and courts while participating in all required team and external meetings.Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure timely documentation of all client contact and complete mandatory annual in-service trainings.Field Travel:
Perform extensive driving to provide community-based services, maintaining a valid license and auto insurance.Why Choose KVC?
