We focus on serving clients who are interested in a tailored experience to their mental health needs and who would benefit from our experience and education. The outpatient therapist will provide outpatient individual and group therapy to clients of Resurgence Counseling Center both in the Lexington location and online. Clinical therapy services are targeted toward children and adult clients. Treatment specialties are chosen by the clinician and may include anxiety, stress management, depression, postpartum, couples, trauma, EMDR, family, substance use, etc.

Owner and/or Clinic Director.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work ; and Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LPCC) in the State of Kentucky For part-time, available to hold at least 10 client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Resurgence Counseling Center.
Other Qualification Preferences:
Prior experience in an outpatient office At least two years of post-master's experience Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).
Hours:
Hours are chosen by the clinician and may include days, evenings, and/or weekends depending on the therapist's availability. The part-time therapist is not guaranteed a minimum number of clients or sessions per week. However, it is expected that the therapist will be available to hold at least 10 client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Resurgence Counseling Center. Client sessions are completed within the office or online through our HIPPA compliant platform.
Pay:
Position is being offered as both a W-2 model and also independent contractor model for pay structure.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform on-site clinical counseling services to clients of Resurgence Counseling Center, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work are required. Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Resurgence Counseling Center. Respond to clients' requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Resurgence Counseling Center website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such clients. Communicate with a client's treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary. Timely complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time to time by Resurgence Counseling Center or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the client within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week). Keep client files accurate and up to date. Charge and collect payments from clients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Resurgence Counseling Center. Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by Resurgence Counseling Center. Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Resurgence Counseling Center. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers. Other duties that may be assigned by Resurgence Counseling Center.
