The ideal candidate will have experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various mental health challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of diverse therapeutic modalities and the ability to create personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client. The Outpatient Therapist will work collaboratively with clients to foster a supportive environment that promotes healing and personal growth. ) Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Applied Behavior Analysis to support client progress. Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to coordinate care for clients requiring psychopharmacology. Offer specialized counseling for chronic pain management as needed. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in outpatient therapy. Requirements Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Valid licensure as a therapist in the state of practice. Experience or training in Dance Therapy is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and psychopharmacology is highly desirable. Proficiency in maintaining medical records and understanding hospital protocols. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality standards within therapeutic settings. This position also requires a valid driver's license, car insurance, reliable transportation and telecommunications availability, excellent verbal and written skills; counseling and social work theories and techniques; and community resources. Strong writing and case conceptualization skills and reference to a methodology. The successful completion of a criminal history or background investigation is required.
