Job Description
We are seeking a Behaviorist (BONUS
FOR DDS EXPERIENCE
) who has experience working with Adults or Adolescents with developmental disabilities to join our wonderful team here at Lotus Behavioral Health. We offer the opportunity to apply behavioral health knowledge to support individuals with developmental disabilities across a variety of modalities and settings. Work is typically 75% virtual/indirect and 25% in-person/direct. Lotus is a fun and supportive work environment that provides the opportunity for professional advancement and growth. All positions are either hybrid or fully remote with flexible work schedules. For Full-time employees we offer salaried or hourly wages. - Wallingford Hybrid Part-time Behaviorist
Bloomfield Hybrid Part-time Behaviorist Duties Include:
- Conduct evaluations to assess clients' behavioral health needs
- Develop and train direct-care staff on individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly using monthly virtual check-ins
- Follow DDS Guidelines for quality behavioral management
- Hassle free data management! You will have a personal data coordinator who is responsible for gathering/ maintaining your data, managing PRC/HRC, and writing you report templates as needed. Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or related field.
- Experience working with adults or adolescents with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its impact on behavioral health is preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral health disorders and treatment modalities (including
ABA & PBS
models)- Ability to conduct FBAs and develop PBS or ABA Behavior Plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- DDS Qualified Provider Certification is a BONUS!
