Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to identify and understand their unique mental health challenges, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews. Provide individualized therapy tailored to each client's needs, employing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused approaches. Work collaboratively with clients to establish therapeutic goals and monitor progress, adapting treatment plans based on feedback and outcomes. Offer teletherapy options, making therapy accessible for clients who may have difficulties traveling or prefer virtual sessions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical standards and state regulations, including progress notes and treatment plans. Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills and remain abreast of emerging trends in mental health treatment to better serve our client population. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice serves a diverse clientele dealing with a range of mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and family dynamics. As an LMFT at Sibley Psychotherapy Services, you will work with individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds, understanding and supporting their unique experiences while fostering a safe space for healing and growth. Qualifications An active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting therapeutic relationships and engage effectively with clients. Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach, ensuring clients feel valued and understood throughout their therapeutic journey. Strong organizational skills and time management abilities, enabling efficient handling of caseloads and administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a private practice setting or outpatient facilities is a plus. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy practices. Experience working with specific populations, such as trauma survivors or clients with substance use issues, would be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary ranging fromUSD 70,000
to 100,000, determined by your experience and credentials.
