You will work alongside a collaborative team of professionals, committed to ongoing learning and the provision of high-quality client care. Key Responsibilities Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with various clientele, ensuring a tranquil and safe online environment for discussion. Perform comprehensive assessments to gain insights into clients' relational dynamics, mental health, and family contexts, shaping tailored treatment strategies. Utilize family systems theory to address underlying communication issues, relationship dynamics, and family stressors effectively. Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary, prioritizing the safety and well-being of clients and their families. Keep accurate and confidential electronic client records, maintaining progress notes in alignment with legal and ethical standards. Educate clients on effective communication, conflict resolution techniques, and healthy coping strategies. Collaborate with a motivated team of therapists and mental health professionals to enhance the quality and continuity of care. Stay current with relevant research and best practices in marriage and family therapy, committing to professional development and continuing education. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will support a diverse client base, encompassing individuals, couples, and families who seek guidance in navigating interpersonal challenges and enhancing their relationships. By employing systemic approaches, you will assist clients in addressing multifaceted issues rooted in family dynamics, communication barriers, and personal stressors. Qualifications Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Austin, Texas or the state/province/country where you practice. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; however, a Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline is highly preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in the marriage and family therapy field is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage remote interactions with clients. A commitment to ethical practices and the confidentiality of client information. Self-motivation and the ability to thrive in an independent remote work environment. Flexibility to accommodate client sessions across various time zones. Preferred Experience Experience in providing remote therapy services is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with telehealth technology and software would be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
