Springfield, MA About Us:
Latino Counseling Center is a dynamic, community-based behavioral health agency dedicated to providing culturally responsive services to children and families. We are expanding our CBHI services and seeking a Therapeutic Mentor to work directly with youth in their homes and communities.
Position Summary:
The Therapeutic Mentor provides structured, one-on-one strength-based support services to youth as part of a wraparound treatment plan. You'll be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team focused on building life skills, promoting positive behaviors, and helping clients achieve treatment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one with youth in their homes and communities Implement individualized service plans created by the clinical team Support skill-building in areas such as communication, problem-solving, social interaction, and daily functioning Serve as a positive role model and mentor Complete all required documentation and maintain timely progress notes
Qualifications:
Associates' degree in psychology, social work, human services, or a related field or at least two years of experience working with youth or families in a behavioral health setting Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Experience working with culturally diverse populations required Candidates with bilingual/bicultural backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply to meet the linguistic and cultural needs of the families we serve Preference may be given to candidates who can be matched to specific client needs , including male role modeling
Schedule & Benefits:
Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities Competitive hourly pay Clinical supervision and professional development support Opportunities for advancement within a growing organization Starting Pay $16 - $25- for the first 25 hours of work. Then $25 per hour after the frist 25 hours per week (productivity)
