Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on topics such as grief, addiction, PTSD care, and crisis management. Offer child and family counseling services, ensuring a supportive environment for clients of all ages. Engage in crisis intervention strategies to assist clients in acute distress. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively. Participate in clinical research and data collection to enhance therapeutic practices. Stay informed about the latest developments in behavioral health and mental health counseling. Requirements Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Valid licensure or certification as required by state regulations for therapists. Experience with children and families is highly desirable; familiarity with special education is a plus. Proficiency in crisis management, behavior management, and patient assessment techniques. Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation. Experience with telehealth platforms is beneficial for remote therapy sessions. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities including art therapy, dance therapy, psychopharmacology, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
