Therapist In Training (Full-Time) Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS)
Location:
1850 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI 53511 Begin Your Clinical Career with Purpose Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a full-time Therapist In Training to join our Beloit outpatient mental health team. This is an excellent opportunity for a master's-level clinician who is working toward independent licensure and wants meaningful clinical experience, high-quality supervision, and the opportunity to serve individuals involved with the Department of Corrections (DOC) and other community-based populations. What You'll Do Under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist, you will: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and evaluations Develop collaborative treatment plans Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling services Deliver psychoeducation and skill-building interventions Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation Participate in treatment team and recovery team meetings Collaborate with community partners and referral sources Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development Utilize trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based practices This position is primarily focused on individual therapy services . While occasional group coverage opportunities may arise, group facilitation is not a primary responsibility of this role. Tuesday and Thursday Friday:
Telehealth or onsite based on client and program needs Flexible Scheduling Therapists have flexibility to establish a schedule that works for them and their clients.
Examples may include:
Four 10-hour days Monday through Thursday with a shorter Friday Other consistent schedules approved by leadership One evening appointment per week is required , typically scheduled at 5:00 PM , to support client access to services. Once established, schedules should remain consistent to support continuity of care for clients.
