The 62-bed facility, located on the campus of Aiken Regional Medical Centers, is accredited by The Joint Commission. The facility offers comprehensive, individualized treatment services by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, clinicians, mental health technicians and recreation therapists who are committed to high quality care.Essential Job Duties:
Performs psychiatric social service functions, to include assessments, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, discharge planning and coordination with referral sources. Performs psychosocial assessments. Performs psycho-educational groups. Conducts family education sessions. Acts as a patient advocate. Participates in the development of treatment plans. Reviews and updates treatment plans as needed. Initiates discharge planning upon admission and follows throughout patient stay. Interacts with community agencies to establish mental health network. Answers Respond Calls whenever available. Performs initial mental health assessments as needed. Charts every session. Charges per service. Participates in program development meetings. Communicates and coordinates services with supervisor. Education :
Masters Degree level in human services field. Full State License or working towards a state license preferred. Work experience : Minimum 3 years experience in mental health setting.
