Job Description

RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center, has an immediate opening for a social work or counseling Outpatient Therapist at our Harriman, TN, location. This position is perfect for an early career therapist wanting to gain experience across a broad population range and receive supervision for LCSW or
LPC-MHSP
licensure. REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
JOB DUTIES
Responsible for the delivery of outpatient clinical services consisting of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including psychotherapy and consultation with other disciplines.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL
Facilitate the awareness, growth, and psychological development of the client Build rapport with the client through empathic listening, caring, and warmth Be authentic, genuine, and transparent Play a significant role of resolving serious issues and conflicts within the family Encourage and motivate individuals to tackle their mental health and behavioral problems effectively Provide a safe environment and establish a warm, comfortable therapeutic culture Work toward licensure as LCSW, LPC-MHSP, or LMFT if not already licensed
