Participates in the evaluation and treatment of patients while working towards encouraging participation with ongoing mental health care decisions and services as appropriate. Responsibilities Provides care by evaluating and providing diagnostic impressions and treatment. Coordinates with referring physician, individuals, and family members throughout the treatment and performs crisis intervention as needed. Records all sessions according to protocols for supervision, feedback, and quality assurance checks. Monitors patients for suicidal/homicidal intent and ensures patient safety if necessary. Collaborates with project coordinators and administrative assistants to coordinate patient visits. Attends appropriate training workshops, interdisciplinary meetings and client staffing as required. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as needed. Performs all other duties as assigned.
