Founded in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania in 1967, The Bair Foundation is a Christian non-profit ministry serving children and families. We have provided quality care and services to children, youth, and families through a myriad of effective community-based services. Today, The Bair Foundation provides services in 9 states, including Kentucky, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Our programs are child-centered, family-focused, strength-based and culturally competent making a significant and positive impact on the children and families we serve. WHAT YOU'LL DO TO MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Therapist, you'll be doing meaningful work that supports the emotional and behavioral health of children and families. You'll provide therapy in homes, therapeutic foster homes, and community settings, helping clients heal, grow, and thrive. Here's what your role will include:
  • Complete diagnostic assessments and develop individualized, strength-based treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, and supportive therapy to children, youth, and their caregivers
  • Document sessions, track progress, and ensure compliance with state and program standards
  • Collaborate with foster parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
  • Offer crisis intervention and connect clients to community resources when needed
  • Support healing, stability, and resilience for children who have experienced trauma or instability
  • Coach caregivers in consistent behavioral supports to strengthen family dynamics
  • Engage in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training to sharpen your clinical skills
  • Be a vital part of a mission-driven team that values hope, restoration, and the power of family
WHAT YOU BRING
(Basic qualifications)
  • Master s degree in counseling or related field
  • Licensed professional in the state specific requirements
  • Valid driver s license and auto insurance
  • Candidates must possess a valid driver s license, current auto insurance, and vehicle registration.
WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD
  • Full clinical licensure (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
  • Experience providing therapy to children and families
  • Training in trauma-informed or evidence-based treatment models

Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
LCSW, LMFT, LPC
Experience working with trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy preferred.
