We are an established outpatient therapy clinic serving Davis and Weber counties, providing evidence-based care for individuals, children, and families. We offer flexibility, strong clinical support, and a positive, growth-oriented, collaborative environment where you can build real confidence as a developing clinician. Our facility also hosts a therapeutic day treatment program for children ages 5-12. This unique setting allows interns to broaden their clinical skillset while supporting children and families navigating complex, modern mental health needs. Internship Availability Window We are specifically seeking interns who are available from April through September, or longer. This timeframe aligns with our program needs and supports continuity of care for assigned clients.
Schedule Expectations Monday-Thursday:
Negotiable, between 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (A weekly team meeting/training on Thursdays from 10:00-11:00 AM is required.)
Friday:
Required, 9:00 AM - 5:00
PM Availability:
Full-time preferred; part-time interns will be considered. A minimum of 20 hours of weekly availability is required. If you are interested, you will be asked to provide your availability so we can assess alignment with the scheduling needs of our clinic. Commitment Requirement (Minimum 5-6 Months) Due to the length of onboarding and the ethical responsibility we hold to clients assigned to an intern caseload, a minimum 5-6 month commitment is required. This commitment may be met through: Completing two consecutive internship terms (1-2 internships), or Completing one internship term and remaining with the clinic for additional months during a school break, when applicable This requirement helps prevent early disruption in treatment and ensures ethical continuity of care for our clients. What to Expect Building a full caseload takes time and dedication. While guaranteed 25+ hours are not available at the start, schedules grow through commitment, flexibility, and clinic-provided referrals. Greater availability increases the likelihood of receiving clients with limited scheduling options.
Key Benefit:
Pathway to Ongoing Employment For interns who demonstrate strong clinical skills and team fit, there may be an opportunity to pursue permanent employment after graduation (at the discretion of the employer). This can allow you to retain an established caseload, rather than starting over in a new practice.
