Job Description
Who We Are New Beginnings Therapy is a mental health group private practice in Logan looking to hire an experienced and dedicated therapist to add to our team. You can find out more about us at www.newbeginningstherapy.net Available Position The available position may be either part-time or full-time, depending on therapist availability and client demand. Applicant must be fully licensed (LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, Psychologist, etc.) and in good standing with all state licensing and ethical bodies. A minimum availability of 15 clinical hours per week is required, with 20-30 hours of clinical availability strongly preferred. Hours are flexible and will be set according to your preferences and office availability. Applicant must be available to work evenings due to high client demand for those times. Continuity of care is important to us and our clients, so we are looking for someone who will be committed to being a part of our team long-term and who will contribute to the growth, development, and improvement of our practice. Job duties will include conducting individual, couple, and/or family therapy with the option to create and run groups; coordinating care with other professionals; case consultation with colleagues; completing case documentation in a timely manner; and coming up with creative methods to better the lives of our amazing clients. Wages will be paid per client hour and will depend on degree, years of experience, specialties and other certifications, number of clinical hours per week, as well as the number of years you are employed at New Beginnings. Requirements Minimum of a Master's degree in a mental health field from an accredited university (Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, etc.). Must be fully licensed in the State of Utah and in good standing with your accrediting body. Thorough understanding of—and strict compliance with— HIPAA confidentiality requirements and ethical standards of their profession. Dedication to evidence-based and theory-driven therapeutic approaches to clinical care. Effective oral and written communication skills, including commitment to respect and workplace professionalism. Timeliness in arriving for team meetings and meeting with clients. Abides by all Utah state laws pertaining to licensure including staying up-to-date on CEU requirements, keeping license current, maintaining and providing proof of malpractice insurance, and record-keeping requirements. An enthusiastic, quick learner who works well both independently and in a team environment. A positive and encouraging attitude toward clients, office staff, colleagues, supervisors, and other members of the team. Cultural sensitivity to minority populations and a positive and affirming attitude toward the LGBTQIA+ population. Benefits
