Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your efforts will help clients develop essential skills, improve behavior management, and enhance their quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support clients' developmental goals Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence and self-care skills Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform treatment plans Support clients in developing communication, social, and behavioral skills through engaging teaching techniques Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, learning, and emotional well-being Skills Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and behavioral therapy techniques Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively Excellent data collection skills for tracking client progress and behavior patterns Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Compassionate approach to patient care with patience and adaptability Effective teaching and communication skills to engage clients across diverse needs Join us in making a difference! $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
