Full Job Description Role Overview:
Join a mental health team as a Licensed Therapist to provide culturally sensitive assessments, individual and family outpatient therapy, and develop crisis and wellness plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care, participate in case consultations, and ensure accurate documentation and billing. The position offers opportunities for leadership, supervision, and career growth in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct strength-based assessments for diverse clients and families. Provide personalized outpatient therapy tailored to client needs. Develop safety, crisis, relapse prevention, and wellness plans. Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and discharge planning. Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance forms accurately. Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff for comprehensive care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field. Current or eligible professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland. Strong communication, ethical practice, and confidentiality commitment. Passion for mental health, ongoing professional development, and teamwork. Effective time management and administrative skills.
