About Benevolent Family Services Benevolent Family Services is an expanding, dedicated provider of Mental Health services for adults & children facing serious mental illnesses. Our mission focuses on empowering individuals through comprehensive and compassionate support, helping them develop essential skills for independent living. About the role Are you a passionate Mental Health Professional interested in working with the most vulnerable? We're seeking a dynamic & innovative QMHP/T for our expanding Mental health Skill Building and Intensive In Home Programs in Hampton, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for Intensive In Home therapy for children and mental Health Skill Building for Adults to help them achieve a better life. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on the mental health community. What you'll do Develop and maintain Individual Service Plans and Progress Notes. Work with individuals to foster new or improved skills. Case management functions of linking, arranging, and advocating for services and referrals. Maintain up-to-date individual records and prepare required session notes in a timely and accurate manner. Establish a good working relationship with other public and private agencies/services and interface collaboratively with them. Ongoing assessment of treatment needs of individuals. Maintain continuous contact with the identified individual and other key stakeholders in planning and service delivery. Maintain up-to-date individual records and prepare required/necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner. Establish a good working relationship with other public and private agencies/services and interface collaboratively with them. Maintain at least two cases of Intensive In Home services for children Maintain at least four (4) cases total Qualifications Bachelors degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services or related field Must have experience working with children Must qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or in training through the Virginia Department of Health Professions
