Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide individual therapy services to clients within the Intensive Adult Mental Health Program and other WCMHS programs as appropriate. Facilitate group therapy sessions based on client and program needs. Provide family therapy services to support client treatment goals. Offer couples therapy when clinically indicated. Deliver community support services when appropriate as part of the treatment plan. Provide psychotherapy services in office, home, and community-based settings to best meet client needs. Maintain a clinical caseload that includes approximately 50% Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) clients. Deliver individual DBT services using evidence-based treatment approaches. Participate in the DBT consultation team and co-facilitate and support DBT skills groups. Collaborate with clinicians, physicians, hospitals, caregivers, families, and other service providers to coordinate care. Education and Experience Master's degree in a mental health/behavioral health discipline required. Licensure or license eligible as a Mental Health Professional (Licensure supervision is available as a part of this position). Minimum of two years' experience providing clinical services to clients dealing with severe and persistent mental health issues preferred. Core Competencies Interest in being an integral part of a team approach with an emphasis on a recovery and strength-based philosophy and practice. Experience or training in DBT preferred, and knowledge and experience with other evidence-based practices would be a plus. Must have a valid driver's license, possess an excellent driving record, and have access to a safe, reliable, insured vehicle.
