About YES:
Youth Eastside Services (YES) is a leading provider of youth and family behavioral health services in East King County. To do this we utilize three integrated pathways: School-Based services, Agency-Based services, and Community-Based services. Organizationally, we pursue continuous quality improvement and transformation through the grounding of all staff in three main initiatives: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, the Trauma-Informed Approach, and Zero Suicide. YES provides evidence-based mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and psychiatric services to help children, teens and families struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, substance use, cultural- and gender-identity issues, anxiety, ADHD, low self-esteem and much more.Summary:
We are looking for a full-time (days and evenings) Behavioral Health Specialist to provide outpatient youth and family services onsite in Kirkland at the Kirkland Teen Union Building, KTUB. The scope of work includes mental health and substance use screenings and assessments; facilitating referrals when needed; providing counseling in individual and group formats; crisis support, suicide risk assessment, safety planning, case management, and related intervention and referrals for youth and families from the Kirkland community. Community support may also be provided through educational presentations or activities. In this position you will work with Agency, School, and Community-based colleagues to better provide whole-person care, including a focus on social determinants of health. Support is found with Team members and the Team Director, training and consultation opportunities, weekly supervision towards licensure and substance use disorder certification, financial support towards SUDP education, licensure fees, and training in evidence-based practices. - Able to triage and conduct crisis intervention, screenings, and assessments for mental health and substance use disorders.

- Ability to work with parents and/or family dynamic.
- Skill in timely documentation and ability to manage time well.
Required:
Master's in Counseling/Social Work;LICSW/A, LMHC/A, LMFT/A AND SUDP/T.
If not an SUDP/T, able to immediately apply for SUDPT and begin educational program. YES contributes financially to the pursuit of SUDP with reimbursement for education and Certification.Preferred :
Previous training in evidence-based practices, especially CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. Experience working with diverse youth. Bilingual/Bicultural representative of greater Kirkland area a plus. YES offers a collaborative and supportive work environment. Salary range $31.31 - $44.32 depending on licensure and years of licensed experience.BENEFITS INCLUDE
