Position Summary Katie's Way is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated mental health therapist to join our growing team in DuPont, Washington . The Mental Health Therapist will provide outpatient counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, military members, veterans, and families in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting focused on delivering exceptional patient care and measurable outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide individual, family, and group therapy services Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Solution-Focused Therapy Trauma-Informed Care Behavioral Interventions Other clinically appropriate modalities Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, TMS staff, and other members of the treatment team Participate in case consultations and treatment planning meetings Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed Ensure compliance with all ethical, legal, HIPAA, and professional standards Qualifications Required Active Washington State license in one of the following: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW) Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) Associate Independent Clinical Social Worker (AICSW) Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Experience providing outpatient mental health therapy Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Preferred Experience treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders Experience working with military populations, veterans, and first responders Experience providing trauma-focused, evidence-based therapies Current credentialing with
TRICARE, VA
Community Care Network (CCN), or major commercial insurance carriers Candidates already credentialed, or actively in the credentialing process with a clear timeline to independent billing, are highly preferred Why Join Katie's Way?
