Job Description
In-Person Position | W2 Employee | Full-Time or Part-Time Join a Practice That Combines Compassion with Measurable Results Renton Counseling Center is seeking a licensed mental health therapist (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) to join our growing team in Renton, Washington. We are not a traditional private practice. Our clinical culture is built around Method 14 , an innovative outcome-informed framework developed by our founder, Vera Dragonchuk, MA, LMHC. Method 14 integrates ongoing client feedback, validated outcome measures, and clinical expertise to help therapists make informed treatment decisions and ensure therapy remains aligned with client goals. We believe excellent therapy requires both meaningful therapeutic relationships and measurable client progress. Therapists at Renton Counseling Center receive training and support in utilizing outcome measures and feedback-informed practices as part of a collaborative and growth-oriented clinical environment. This position is ideal for clinicians who value clinical excellence, accountability, professional development, and helping clients achieve lasting change. Responsibilities Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy services Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and treatment planning Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Incorporate client feedback and outcome measures into treatment Utilize Method 14 principles to enhance treatment effectiveness Collaborate with referral sources and other healthcare providers as appropriate Participate in team meetings, consultation, and ongoing professional development Adhere to HIPAA, ethical standards, and Washington State licensing requirements QualificationsRequired Active Washington State LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW license Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Strong clinical and interpersonal skills Ability to manage an outpatient caseload independently Commitment to outcome-informed and client-centered care Preferred Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families Training in evidence-based treatment approaches Experience with insurance-based outpatient practice Availability Requirements Must be willing to work on-site in Renton Evening availability required Weekend availability required Ability to maintain a consistent weekly schedule Benefits W2 employment Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid sick leave Flexible unpaid time off Administrative and billing support Established referral stream Office space provided Clinical consultation and peer support Training in Method 14 and outcome-informed care Opportunities for professional growth and advancement What Success Looks Like Builds and maintains a consistent caseload Establishes strong therapeutic alliances with clients Demonstrates positive client outcomes Uses client feedback to enhance treatment effectiveness Maintains timely documentation and professional standards Actively contributes to a collaborative team culture
