Job Summary:
You will be using your creativity to transform high level mental health concepts into realistic action for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is an opportunity to activate your group facilitation skills, develop and plan enriching therapy and activity sessions while providing direct group and individual therapy to clients.

(see below) What you'll be doing: You will be part of a team of certified skills trainers who work enhance quality of life and independence for individuals providing: Weekly skills groups Weekly skills sessions in client homes Community events supporting clients putting skills into practice Events and celebrations centered around clients' personal successes Develop genuine relationships with clients while maintaining healthy boundaries and strong professionalism What you'll gain: Included in this position, Service Alternatives (SA) provides comprehensive training in the DBT clinical processes, facilitation, group presentation and curriculum development.
You will receive:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy Foundational Training - Behavioral Tech Institute Comprehensive program in providing DBT with a high level of fidelity to evidence-based models. SA Training Skills Academy Strengthen and refine your skills in coaching, mentoring and developing group curriculum through our exclusive SA Training Skills Academy Introduction to
Elemental Leadership Foundations of Leadership Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services or a closely related field from an accredited college One-year experience working with Adults or Children with Development/Intellectual Disabilities or at-risk youth Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check Within 120 days of hire: Obtain certificate of completion of SA Training Skills Academy Paid for by SA Completion of DBT Foundation Training through Behavior Tech Institute Paid for by SA Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid license Paid for by
SA Licensing and Certifications:
Current driver license, car, and car insurance.
