Job Description
Psychotherapist Aspire Counseling, LLC is currently looking for mental health professionals to join our team. We provide outpatient mental health services to clients in Rock, Walworth and Jefferson Counties. Our therapists provide psychotherapy and or psychoeducation services in the clients' homes, within the community or at our office. We are flexible and work collaboratively with the clients, their family, and other service providers based on the individuals needs. Therapist will provide trauma-informed, evidence based mental health counseling, guidance and treatment planning to children, adolescents and their families.
Office Location:
Janesville Wisconsin Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, group sessions using evidence-based practices
- Provide counseling services to clients with a variety of mental health concerns
- Collect and analyze data to assess client progress and make informed treatment decisions
- Stay up to date with clinical research, training and best practices in the field
- Coordinate additional information as needed for a clear clinical picture
- Opportunities to conduct training groups and specific training to families
- Review treatment/service plans
- Attend meetings with treatment team as needed
- Maintain clinical license and liability insurance
Qualifications:
Candidates must be able to satisfactorily perform the above essential duties and responsibilities. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required. Upon offer, candidate must complete the required background check.Education and Experience:
- Masters degree in counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy or related program is required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Must be licensed as a professional counselor or be eligible to receive state licensure "in training" by meeting criteria set for by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
- Must have valid drivers license and have reliable transportation to perform the essential duties of the job with a satisfactory driving record and insurance
Clinical Supervision and Consultation:
- Weekly clinical supervision will be provided to meet the requirements set by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services for
Licensed Professional Counselors Travel:
