You are a skilled clinician who is passionate about helping child clients make meaningful change in their lives. You are dedicated to high quality, evidence-based care for those with whom you work. You have a passion and training to work with children, and their parents to target childhood mental health issues and traumas families endure. You have a specialization in treating children and ideally are passionate about treating Autism.
What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs. Engage in collaborative treatment planning grounded in evidence-based modalities . Manage cases effectively, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals as needed. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation of client progress and treatment plans. Collaborate with folks inside and outside the practice when needed on behalf of serving our clients to the best of our ability including schools when clinically appropriate. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychotherapy. Participate in optional peer consultation, team meetings, and community learning and engagement. Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and client care for children and their families.
Qualifications:
Master's degree, or doctoral degree in a mental health field (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, PsyD) Active licensure as a Psychotherapist or equivalent certification. Experience in clinical settings is required, with a strong interest in evidence
  • based approaches such as but not limited to (PCIT, CBT, ACT, EFT, DBT-C, E/RP, PE, ABA, EMDR) Strong skills in individual and group counseling methodologies for children, tweens and adolescents preferred.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality. Ability and drive to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and spirit for this work.
