Job Summary Join our team as an American Heart Association CPR Instructor and become a vital part of empowering individuals with life-saving skills! In this dynamic role, you will deliver engaging, hands-on CPR, first aid, and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training courses to diverse audiences. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire confidence in participants, ensuring they are prepared to respond effectively in emergencies. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while honing your teaching and communication skills. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive CPR, first aid, and AED training sessions to adult learners in classroom settings. Go onsite to train employees of other companies. Demonstrate proper techniques for performing CPR, administering first aid, and using AED devices with clarity and confidence. Facilitate engaging discussions and practical exercises to reinforce learning objectives. Assess participant understanding through quizzes, skill demonstrations, and feedback sessions. Maintain accurate attendance records, course completion documentation, and certification logs. Stay current with American Heart Association guidelines and incorporate updates into training materials. Skills Proven experience in lesson planning and delivering adult education effectively. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse audiences. Prior teaching or classroom experience, especially in health or safety training preferred. Knowledge of CPR techniques, first aid procedures, and AED operation. Public speaking skills that inspire confidence and clarity during instruction. Ability to demonstrate patience, adaptability, and professionalism in all interactions.
