JOB DESCRIPTION

Provides medical nutrition therapy via individualized and/or group sessions by assessing nutritional status, developing nutrition recommendations, instructing patients in diet modifications, and providing follow up care as needed. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of Weight loss and Nutrition The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Additional qualifications Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred. License or certification Certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required at the time of hire or Health coach certificate. The ideal candidate will have Confidence in their ability to improve a person's health through nutrition and diet Ability to follow protocols and guidelines developed by the clinic for Nutrition Ability to follow directions per the physician and work collaboratively Fast paced Weight loss Health coach Electronic medical records Motivational interviewing - able to change patients behavior for weight loss Works very well with physician and other colleagues Communication skills need to be excellent Punctual Willing to get more traning as needed Previous weight loss experience ( Plus) Sales experience ( plus) Front office experience (plus) Medical assitant certification ( plus) Technical requirements Microsoft word Microsoft Excel Online applications related to clinic Electronic medical records Tech Savvy Other Requirements Resume/CV References from previous work ( managers and colleagues) Background check Cover letter : Why do you want to join our amazing team
