Job Description

This is a casual/per-diem position with a varied schedule that may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Position will primarily teach at Scripps Mercy San Diego (Hillcrest) while supporting the systemwide programs as needed. We invite you to join our Perinatal Education team as a Perinatal Educator. The Perinatal Educator for Scripps Center for Community Health and Advocacy is a Certified Childbirth Educator and/or a Certified Lactation Educator. In addition, they are responsible for:
  • Teaching standardized perinatal education programs throughout the Scripps Healthcare System.
  • The Educator is an active team member who works closely with the Lead Perinatal Educator and Supervisor in the development of and implementation of perinatal education programs.
  • The Educator performs other duties as assigned.
