Job Description

Certified Wellness Coach Are you passionate about helping students work through mental health challenges and building a more robust behavioral health workforce? If so, join Ro Health as a Certified Wellness Coach! This role focuses on providing preventative, non-clinical behavioral health and wellness support in a school setting. Certified Wellness Coaches promote emotional well-being, resilience, coping skills, and healthy habits. It is a great benefit if you have previous experience supporting students.

Overview:
In Person/School Setting Orange, CA M-F 8am-3pm (varies, schedule will depend on each school) $22-$28, depends on certification level and experience Cases begin in
August Responsibilities :
Build trusting, strengths‑based relationships with students through regular check‑ins and supportive conversations Promote mental wellness, coping skills, and healthy habits through individual and group activities Provide early identification of behavioral health concerns using approved screening tools Support students in navigating stress, social challenges, and school engagement Connect students to appropriate school‑based or community behavioral health services Collaborate with school counselors, nurses, psychologists, and community partners to ensure coordinated care Follow established protocols for crisis escalation and mandated reporting Campus Engagement & Prevention Lead or support wellness workshops, classroom presentations, and schoolwide initiatives Contribute to a positive school climate by modeling empathy, inclusivity, and youth‑centered communication Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student success Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student interactions and referrals. Uphold confidentiality standards and comply with district, state, and CYBHI guidelines. Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development.
Qualifications :
An active Certified Wellness Coach (CWC) certification through the Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) is required Experience supporting students or individuals in a wellness, behavioral health, or educational setting Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree is a plus RBT certification or prior ABA experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for supporting student wellness and success Inclination to work well in a team environment Benefits (eligibility dependent on employment status) : Paid time off Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401K with employer matching Direct deposit Single point of contact Does this role sound like the right fit for you?
