Job Description
We are a growing CPR instruction company based in the San Francisco North Bay area, servicing Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties. We are looking to bring on board an experienced American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED instructor. This would be for occasional work as classes come up, with a view to ramping up demand. This would be on a 1099/independent contractor basis. We do have a class coming up in September for which we are looking for an instructor and likely more thereafter.
Requirements:
- Serious about teaching high quality American Red Cross (ARC) classes with the goal of having participants leave the classroom prepared to save a life.
- Friendly, professional and accessible approach to students
- Qualified to teach ARC R25 classes
- Able to teach in Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties, with reliable transportation. Classes are generally held in businesses in the north bay.
- Has access to six adult manikins (with feedback devices), six infant manikins (with feedback devices), six AED training devices, and all the other equipment - in good condition - needed to teach ARC-compliant courses.
- Qualified to teach ARC Skill Boost courses is a plus.
