Job Summary:
We are seeking an
EXPERIENCED
(5+ years is a must) Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our small, seasoned, collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who is a passionate and experienced coach, well educated in the crafted and always looking to advance, highly knowledgeable about programming, nutrition, barbell work/training, principles of progression. Group and individual training experience is an absolute must. We require above average knowledge about more advanced training methodologies/movement mechanics, and the ability to teach professionally and at a high level (i.e. Powerlifting/Bodybuilding/Crossfit/Olympic lifting etc.) Please do not apply if you do not have some if not all of this training knowledge. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with a small business, that values education as well as personal and professional development. If you also have skills in any other fields like Massage/Manual Therapy, human movement related expertise, blogging, content creation, or social media, that's a BIG plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach individuals and our small group strength training sessions Instruct and correct foundational movement patterns tailored to the individual in front of you, with an emphasis on the big lifts and other strength, speed, hypertrophy and conditioning methods and modalities Modify programming as needed to meet client needs Maintain a professional, welcoming, and safe training environment Collaborate with the team to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience Contribute to educational or social media content and/or blogs
Qualifications:
5+ years of coaching experience in strength and conditioning and group classes Current certification (NSCA-CSCS, ISSA, ,NASM, ACE, USAW, etc.) Strong knowledge of human health, movement mechanics, training principles, and injury prevention Experience working with a wide range of fitness levels and demographics CPR/AED certified You take your own wellness seriously and practice what you preach You are personable and an excellent rapport builder Bonus Skills (Not Required): Manual therapy or movement modality expertise Blogging or writing fitness-related content Creating social media content (Reels, posts, videos) Experience with community engagement or gym marketing
