In this role, you will deliver engaging, comprehensive training sessions on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), ensuring participants are confident and prepared to respond effectively in emergencies. Your expertise will help foster a culture of preparedness and excellence in emergency response across diverse communities. Duties Develop and deliver high-quality CPR and PALS training courses tailored to various audiences, including healthcare providers, law enforcement officers, military personnel, and adult learners. Assess participant skills through practical demonstrations and written evaluations to ensure mastery of life-saving techniques. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current guidelines from recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent authorities. Create engaging curriculum materials, including manuals, visual aids, and simulation scenarios that enhance learning experiences. Conduct ongoing curriculum development to incorporate the latest emergency medicine practices and educational strategies. Coordinate training schedules, manage registration processes, and ensure all training equipment is properly maintained and available. Provide feedback and coaching to participants to improve their confidence and competence in emergency response situations. Collaborate with healthcare facilities, law enforcement agencies, military units, and community organizations to expand training outreach efforts. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, legal requirements, and accreditation standards for instructor certification programs. Skills Extensive knowledge of emergency medicine principles with a focus on CPR and PALS protocols. Proven experience in teaching adult education or professional training environments. Strong background in EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) experience or emergency room practice highly preferred. Familiarity with curriculum development for health sciences or emergency response training programs. Ability to communicate complex medical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Experience working with law enforcement or military personnel is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across different settings. Certification as a CPR instructor or PALS instructor from recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association is required or obtainable upon hire.
