POSITION SUMMARY

Active Health is hiring a health coach for our Farmington location. We support clients by giving them the tools and resources to keep them active, healthy, and strong at any age. Our vision is to educate our clients so they are empowered to make proactive choices to maintain their health. The coach we are looking for has positive energy, adaptable, sociable, and an ability to engage clients with a wide range of need by creating safe and effective sessions. This position is expected to expand to a full time position.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Provide consistent and effective coaching for all clients Integrate Motivational Interviewing techniques into coaching sessions to keep in line with the "spirit of motivational interviewing" Meet with other team members regularly to talk about client goals and progress Develop health education classes and organize group activities Establish & track appropriate client goals and make adjustments as needed Maintain positive and productive client & team relationships Engage in continuing education & credential maintenance in support of the Health Coaching programs Provide flexible work hours to ensure we offer convenient and accessible sessions for clients.
