We are seeking to add a compassionate, skilled International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to our practice on a part-time basis. Flexible hours.
Position Details:
2-3 days per week in our Farmington, CT (or Hamden, CT) office Willingness to do home visits when requested Opportunity to grow within well-established practice This is a contractor (1099) position, no benefits offered Compensation will be based on experience What to
Expect:
Initial meeting with current practice providers, followed by an observation period Guided onboarding to ensure consistency in consult approach and care standards Supportive, team-based environment with a strong clinical framework
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Is an IBCLC in good standing Values empathetic communication skills with families Respects all family configurations and feeding choices (breast & bottle) Ideally has had a background working with mothers & babies in other settings (support group settings, infant massage training, doulas, other healthcare providers), but this is not a requirement Has strong follow-up and documentation practices Is committed to ongoing professional development and is eager to learn new skills both from our current providers but also from attending conferences (in person or remotely)
What We Offer:
Established referral base and steady client flow Ability to bill most major insurance companies Annual stipend for continuing education .
Pay:
$50.00 - $70.00 per hour
