AHA Instructor Effective CPR Training Orlando, FL Job Details Part-time | Contract $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Training program Staff upskilling Educational material preparation Instructor-led training (training delivery method) Classroom Teaching Full Job Description We are seeking motivated individuals who are interested in becoming American Heart Association (AHA) Instructors or are already an AHA instructor. We provide the instructor training courses, classroom instruction, and hands-on training necessary to become certified. Upon successful completion of the instructor training program and certification requirements, candidates will be qualified to teach Basic Life Support (BLS) courses. Instructors will also have opportunities to obtain additional certifications to teach Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses. Responsibilities Complete the required AHA Instructor training and certification process. Conduct BLS training sessions for individuals and groups upon certification. Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on instruction in accordance with current AHA guidelines and standards. Assess participants' knowledge and skills through written examinations and practical skills evaluations. Provide constructive feedback and support to help learners achieve course objectives. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and course completions. Assist with the preparation and organization of training materials, equipment, and course logistics. Stay current with AHA guidelines and training requirements. Pursue additional instructor certifications, such as ACLS and PALS, as opportunities become available.
